Mule Kick, the signature cocktail for the Best of Taste Bash 2014, combines Vermont Gold American Small Batch Vodka (distilled from 100% maple sap), NH's Squamscott Ginger Beer, and pear nectar, making it a smooth and refreshing signature cocktail to celebrate all of the 2014 Best of TASTE winners.
Adapted by food & beverage consultant Michele Duval with help from Lee Zavorskas, bartender at SALT at the Wentworth by the Sea Hotel.

2 oz. Vermont Gold Vodka
1 oz. Pear Nectar
2 oz. Squamscott Ginger Beer
1. Add ice in a shaker.
2. Add vodka and pear nectar
3. Shake to chill
4. Strain into martini glass.
5. Top with ginger beer.
